About This Opportunity
The Indian Navy has released the Agniveer Recruitment 2026 notification for posts including Agniveer (SSR), Agniveer (MR), and SSR (Medical) under the Agnipath scheme for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches.
Interested unmarried male and female candidates can apply online through the official recruitment portal from 14 March 2026 to 06 April 2026, which is the last date to submit the application form. Candidates applying for Agniveer (SSR) must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with at least 50% marks, while Agniveer (MR) requires 10th pass with 50% marks from a recognized board.
For SSR (Medical), candidates must have 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 50% aggregate and at least 40% in each subject. Selected candidates for SSR and MR will serve for 4 years, while the SSR (Medical) post offers 20 years of regular service. During the Agniveer tenure, candidates receive a starting monthly salary of approximately ₹30,000, which increases yearly and includes risk and hardship allowances along with benefits under the Seva Nidhi package after completion of service. The recruitment process includes the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) followed by a Physical Fitness Test, written examination, and medical examination.
Selected candidates will be posted at various naval bases and training establishments across India.
